The awards lunch on 26th October will kick off a week of activity from sausage producers across the nation, with UK Sausage Week running from 26th October to 2nd November 2026. Category winners will be revealed at the exclusive ceremony, with the 2026 UK Supreme Sausage Champion to be selected from the various category winners.
Jenny Bullock, event organiser for UK Sausage Week, commented: “There has been a lot of last minute interest regarding product nominations, which is why we have made the decision to extend the deadline.
“The judging process will begin shortly after product nominations have closed, when our home economists will cook each product nomination exactly as instructed and judges will taste each sausage. Criteria for judging will include packaging, taste, smell and texture, all to find out which banger will be crowned UK Supreme Sausage Champion in this year’s UK Sausage Week competition.”
