The annual initiative celebrates women working in the British and Irish meat industries. More than 10,000 votes were received this year, once again confirming the popularity and importance of the Women In Meat Industry Awards.
As usual, this year’s awards programme will culminate in a black-tie dinner and ceremony at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday evening 20th November, when the winners of each category will be revealed.
Speaking about the forthcoming 2026 ceremony, Gwen Mostyn, editor of Meat Management magazine, which stages the initiative, said: “It is a delight to be able to welcome our guest host Olympic gold medallist Sally Gunnell OBE to the Awards this year, and I can assure our guests that they can look forward to a very enjoyable evening with the bonus of attending a unique networking opportunity.”
Organiser of the event Jenny Bullock added: “This much-anticipated dinner and ceremony will highlight many talented people from across the meat industry. It is set fair to be another wonderful occasion.”
