The 2024 Women In Meat Industry Awards voting period has concluded, with the full list of finalists now online.

The full finalist list is available here, and winners will be announced at a black-tie dinner and awards ceremony on Friday 29th November, held at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

This year’s initiative saw a record 13,000 votes cast ahead of the awards ceremony in November, when tennis star and TV presenter Annabel Croft will be welcomed to the stage to announce the winners of each category.

Voting numbers dictate the finalists and winners, so some categories will have more finalists to reflect the volume and size of a particular sector.

Joanna Thomson, editor of the Meat Management and Food Management Today magazines, who organise the awards, said: “The response to this initiative has been fantastic, and it is excellent to see it grow with each year. It is always a delight to be able to recognise great people and celebrate with them at the annual awards ceremony, which is an occasion you won’t want to miss!”

Event organiser Libby Goodwin said: “It is amazing to see so many people get involved with this unique initiative. We are looking forward to the ceremony in November, where members of industry will be recognised for the vital work they do. Be sure to book your tickets before they sell out!”
