The time has come to cast your votes and nominate products into the Food Management Today Industry Awards 2019.

Every year, the FMT Food Industry Awards recognise the hard work and excellence of food processors and manufacturers, along with retailers, trade organisations, ingredients suppliers, machinery, equipment companies and many more.

The awards consist of reader voting and product entries to determine the best in the industry, as chosen by Food Management Today readers together with a select judging panel for product evaluation.

Please note that the deadline for product entries and voting is 7th September 2018.


Readers are invited to vote online in seven categories:

• Food Manufacturer of the year
• Best Ingredients Supplier
• Best Machinery/Equipment Supplier
• Best Trade Organisation
• Best Training Initiative
• Food Retailer of the Year
• Food Industry Champion Award

Manufacturers and retailers can also nominate products for entry online into one or more of the nine product categories which will be judged by industry experts.

• Best Dairy Product
• Best ‘Free From’ Product
• Best New Product Development

Head judge Keith Fisher and fellow judge Emily Ansell Elfer, part of the judging panel, appraising products for the FMT Food Industry Awards 2018.

The awards will be presented at a prestigious luncheon, which takes place at the five star Royal Garden Hotel in London on 31st January 2019.

Next year, the awards lunch will welcome a new speaker – Robbie Glen, in addition to once again being hosted by John Torode of MasterChef fame.

A reminder that the deadline for both product entry and voting is the 7th September 2018.
