Global provider of natural colours for the food industry, Oterra, has announced the appointment of Martin Sonntag as its new CEO as of Monday 1st January 2024.

Sonntag was previously part of the Dow Chemical Company, where he held technical, manufacturing and commercial roles. Sonntag has held multiple executive roles in his time at US ingredients supplier Ingredion and in his current role at ingredients company Doehler.

Cees de Jong, chairman of the board of directors at Oterra, said: “Martin is an experienced international leader with a strong track-record in the global food and beverage ingredients industry. His plug-and-play knowledge will surely solidify and accelerate Oterra’s further development and growth in the coming years.”
