Quorn has recalled a batch of its 2 Gluten Free Burgers packs because of undeclared gluten which is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to gluten.
The product concerned is the two page (227g) of Quorn 2 Gluten Free Burgers batch code 708049 with a best before date of 30th November 2019.
No other Quorn products are known to be affected.
Quorn has confirmed it is recalling the product from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, who will tell their members about the recall.
The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
The notices explains to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
Quorn has advised anyone that has bought the above product and has an allergy or intolerance to gluten should not eat it.
Instead, the item can be returned to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
