The Scottish Food Trade Association (SFTA) has unveiled new appointments to its leadership team, following “unanimous approval” from the Association’s executive team.
SFTA (formerly known as the Scottish Provision Trade Association) has appointed Sheree McNair as president and Alison Dyet as vice president. The Association said that as president, McNair will “provide strategic direction and leadership” to ensure that the SFTA continues to “foster growth” while keeping the interests of members in mind.
McNair said: “I am honoured to have been elected as president of the Scottish Food Trade Association. Scotland’s food industry is a vital component of our economy, and I am committed to work alongside our members to promote collaboration and growth.”
She will be supported by Dyet, who has experience as a dairy farmer, and as vice president Dyet will work closely with McNair and the executive committee to “champion the interests of SFTA members”.
“I am thrilled to serve as the vice president of the Scotland Food Trade Association,” said Dyet. “I look forward to collaborating with Sheree and our executive committee to advance the interests of our members and ensure the continued success of the Scottish Food Trade Association.”
