The winners of the 2023 Meat Management Industry Awards were announced on the evening of Tuesday 12th September at a black-tie dinner and ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

The Awards is the UK’s biggest celebration of creativity, innovation and excellence of the UK’s meat industry. The award winners are determined through reader votes and product entries, along with a select judging panel for product evaluation.

Comedian Mark Watson joined Graham Yandell MBE, publisher of both Meat Management and Food Management Today magazines, to present the awards to winners.

A total of 20 accolades were handed out to companies, associations and people.

The coveted Excellence Award title went to Bill Jermey, chairman of the Institute of Meat. Another of the night’s most sought-after awards, Young Manager of the Year, was won by Grace Walker of Warrendale Wagyu.
