The Women in Meat Industry Awards 2022 ceremony, hosted by TV celebrity chef and author Rachel Allen, is now confirmed to take place on Friday 11th November at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington.

The annual initiative recognises the important role and contribution of women in the meat industry. The evening culminates in a black-tie dinner and ceremony with an after-party in London.

Rachel Allen will host the ever popular dinner this year and organisers expect a sell-out occasion.

Lead organiser Sharon Yandell said: “We are making a minor change to our Women In Meat Industry Awards date and bringing it forward to the Friday evening of 11th November. Our original proposed date of 25th November now clashes with the England v USA Football World Cup game, following the recent tournament draw, and we anticipate that a big game like this might potentially affect attendance, hence the change.

“It is also important that we give our participants and partners the opportunity to attend without any pressure or clash of priorities. With eight-months still to go it leaves plenty of time for what is a minor change in the diary.”

The selection of finalists and voting process will start in early summer, but tables and tickets can be reserved now to ensure those wishing to be part of it can be.
