Candidates for the 2021 Women In Meat Industry Awards have until this Friday 9th July to be nominated.

The deadline has been extended very slightly to cope with demand for this popular initiative. Voting for the selected finalists will then go live shortly afterwards at the official website and the ceremony, with its presentations, will take place in London on 18th November this year.

Those wishing to nominate can do so now at www.womeninmeatawards.com.

After moving the ceremony online in 2020 for a virtual event, brought about due to Covid restrictions, the unique occasion will once again culminate in a five-star black-tie dinner and ceremony with an after-party in London. This year the awards will move to a new location at the Hilton London Metropole hotel, which has recently had a multi-million-pound refurbishment.

The overall Meat Businesswoman of the Year Award went to  Margaret Boanas of IMTA in 2020 and organisers report that already anticipation is high to see who will win the categories, and the overall award in 2021.

Details of all 10 categories and online nomination forms can be found at www.womeninmeatawards.com.

Tickets and tables for the November 18th ceremony and black-tie dinner can also be booked now.
