According to the BFFF, the frozen food industry has “continuously demonstrated outstanding performance” in 2023.
BFFF president Ian Stone told the trade body’s annual luncheon that consumers have a new-found enthusiasm for frozen foods.
Rupert Ashby, chief executive of the British Frozen Food Federation said that the trade body “expects volume to pick up again during the next quarter”, following a recent slump in frozen food sales.
The volume of frozen food sales continued to grow in the second quarter of 2023, according to new Kantar data supplied by the BFFF.
