Frozen food manufacturer Glendale Foods has been acquired by private family business group the Shallan Group for an undisclosed sum.

Glendale Foods provides frozen food products to retailers, foodservice providers and ready meal manufacturers. The Shallan Group has acquired 100% of the Glendale Foods share capital in the acquisition.

Brands under the Glendale Foods name include The Great British Pudding Company, Wrapsters and Hot Ones.

The Glendale Foods founders, Paul Burkitt and Mark Jones, commented: “This is a great next chapter for Glendale Foods, we are delighted to have found investors who share the same values as ourselves and very much look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of the business.”
