Yandell Publishing Ltd., who own and publish the title Food Management Today (FMT) has confirmed various changes to the portfolio which means that after the November / December edition of FMT, the title will be available exclusively in website format providing daily news and occasional features.
The popular FMT weekly online Newsletter will continue to be distributed each Friday, linking up to the latest online information which is added to the website throughout the week.
The highly successful FMT Food Industry Awards will continue unchanged, culminating in its annual 5-star ceremony and awards lunch which next year will take place on Thursday 26th June in London. The November/December edition of FMT has full details of how to nominate products.
Commenting on the changes, publisher Graham Yandell MBE said: “Whilst all the other print publications we produce in various markets across the company are performing very well, we have found that specifically, in the broader food industry, readers are happy with our online product and with pressures on print and distribution costs we have decided to invest online together with the highly successful awards, rather than continue with the print magazine.
“We will however publish a substantial annual publication supporting the FMT Awards including results and profiles of winners, plus increasing online coverage both pre and post event.
“Of course, we are perhaps best known for our Meat Management magazine and its extensive supporting portfolio, and this part of our business is unaffected by these changes and, in fact, will be expanding our meat industry coverage in 2025.”
