Organisers of the annual FMT Food Industry Awards are reporting a wide range of incoming product nominations as well as category voting, as this year’s programme kicks off for 2024.

The FMT Food Industry Awards recognise the hard work and excellence of food processors, manufacturers and retailers across the UK food sector.

Trade organisations, ingredients suppliers, machinery and equipment companies, product innovations, people and training are also honoured as part of the programme.

There are 16 award categories in total and readers of Food Management Today magazine and its website are encouraged to put forward their products and nominate their industry stars for one or more of this year’s categories.

After a successful event for 2023, the 2024 awards will be presented a ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel, London, on Thursday 27th June 2024, and will be a business luncheon.

How to participate

The awards are structured in two parts. Readers are invited to vote in seven categories, while manufacturers and retailers can nominate products for entry into one or more of the nine product categories which will be judged by industry experts. Judging for the 2024 programme will be held at Reiser UK’s test kitchens in Milton Keynes.

Products are to be delivered to Reiser UK’s test kitchens for evaluation on Tuesday 6th February. Entrants receive full details and information in advance. The final deadline for voting is Friday 1st March 2024.
