Food Manufacturer of the Year is amongst one of the 16 awards as part of the FMT Food Industry Awards 2024 programme. Businesses across the UK food sector are encouraged to nominate their industry leaders for this year’s title.

Each year, the FMT Food Industry Awards give members of the food manufacturing and retailing sectors an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the hard work of those keeping the nation fed.

Readers of Food Management Today magazine and its website are encouraged to nominate and vote for their industry stars within seven specialist categories.

Food Manufacturer of the Year, Best Ingredients Supplier and Food Retailer of the Year are amongst the voting categories in this year’s FMT Food Industry Awards programme.

The 2024 awards programme will culminate in an awards ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel, London, on Thursday 27th June, and will revert back to a business luncheon.

The seven voting categories include

  • Best Ingredients Supplier
  • Best Machinery / Equipment Supplier
  • Best Trade Organisation
  • Best Training Initiative
  • Food Manufacturer of the Year
  • Food Retailer of the Year
  • Food Industry Champion

In this year’s programme, there are nine product categories that are accepting nominations.

The nine product categories are

  • Best Frozen Product
  • Best Dairy Product
  • Best Free From Product
  • Best Bakery Product
  • Best Poultry Product
  • Best Ready To Eat Product
  • Best Red Meat Product
  • Best New Product Development
  • Best Seafood Product

The final deadline for online product nominations is 20th January and subsequently products are to be delivered to the Harper Adams test kitchens for evaluation on Tuesday 7th February 2023. Entrants receive full details and information in advance.
