The latest figures by Kantar show a growth in consumer confidence has allowed the supermarket to outpace its competitors on footfall, upping its market share by 0.3 percentage points to 5.0%.
The latest figures from Kantar have revealed that frozen foods are continuing to outperform total grocery growth in both value (+7.8%) and volume (+5.2%).
Lamb has been a star performer in the last quarter, together with fish. However, beef and chicken have seen steep declines.
Grocery market share figures from Kantar for the 12-week period ending 13th June 2021 show that the average spend per store trip is down 13.6% compared to last year.
