Bakery ingredients company AB Mauri has announced that it will expand its delivery of technical solutions to food manufacturing sectors outside of bakery, as it introduces four new executive appointments to support the expansion.

AB Mauri UK and Ireland was formed from the merger of Cereform, Mauri Products and Gb Plange UK. The company specialises in a range of technical bakery ingredients and yeast products to bakers across the UK and Irish meat and food industries.

AB Mauri’s managing director, Andy Pollard, said that the new appointments would “significantly enhance” the company’s ability to deliver its food technology, innovation and expertise to new and developing markets.

He added: “Whilst we are dedicated to supporting the bakery market, we strongly believe we can also bring our technical expertise to benefit other food manufacturing sectors.”
